Refreshing Grapefruit Agua Fresca Recipe

There’s nothing we love more than the perfect sipper on a warm afternoon and this refreshing grapefruit agua fresca is just the ticket. To kick off the season where alfresco dining and outdoor picnics reign supreme, we’re showing you how to make the perfect complimentary drink. Sweetened with natural honey and infused with rosemary, this pretty mocktail (or cocktail) is sure to quench your thirst!

Ingredients

1/3 cup honey | 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary | 3-4 grapefruits | crushed ice | soda water | spirits (for cocktail version)

1. Heat it up

Heat 1/3 cup of honey and 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary over low heat until it bubbles. Remove from heat and let it cool. Then remove rosemary.

2. Squeeze

Squeeze juice from grapefruits until you have about 3/4 of a cup of juice. About three grapefruits.

3. Shake it up

Pour infused honey and fresh squeezed grapefruit juice into a shaker and shake until combined. (I strained my grapefruit juice to remove some of the pulp)

4. Pour it up

Fill a chilled glass with crushed ice and pour mixture over top. Top off with soda water and garnish with a grapefruit slice and sprig of rosemary. Enjoy! Store leftover in an air-tight container in the fridge.
